English National Curriculum · Reception to Year 6
What your child learns
The English National Curriculum is the spine: British primary year groups, ages 4 to 11, taught at home. Every week is three learning days plus two practice days. Families in the UK use it to keep pace with school. Families abroad use it because they want a British education from early years.

Subjects
The core of the British primary week. History, Geography and other National Curriculum subjects can join as they are added.
Maths
Number, place value, fractions, shape, measurement and reasoning, matched to each year group.
English
Reading comprehension, grammar, spelling and writing, with age-appropriate texts.
Science
Working scientifically, living things, materials and physical processes.
The National Curriculum is the map
Aari plans and teaches from the English National Curriculum: year groups, key stages, and the topics for each subject. That is what your child is following, whether they also attend a British school or you are giving them this education at home.
Where a topic also matches Oak National Academy, England's national body for classroom resources, your child gets an "Explore this topic" link back to that teaching. Oak is extra classroom material, not a second syllabus.
Optional · Year 3 to Year 6
11+ exam-prep track
You can opt in to British grammar and selective-school prep. Verbal reasoning and visual non-verbal puzzles, actual shape sequences like the exam, blend into the Weekly Challenge. Exam prep rides along with the National Curriculum instead of replacing it.
